The Simantel Blood Drive took place last week and raised (gathered? harvested?) a very respectable 16 pints of Simantel blood for the Red Cross. And while most of us walked away from the BloodMobile unscathed, intern Tracy Blasiak – an enthusiastic first-time donor – was  scathed slightly. But don’t worry, she’s fine.
