In an effort to convince Google to use our town as a test city for its super-high-speed internet infrastructure, the city of Peoria put out a call to all citizens for web videos that express our interest in the project and Peoria’s suitability as a test locale. Simantel’s answer comes from the mind of our Sr. Digital Strategist and interactive renaissance man, Andrew Tuma, whose entire life is, apparently, spent in quiet frustration. Not long ago, nobody had ever heard of Bud Select 55, the super-low-calorie beer from Anheuser-Busch. Because Peoria was chosen as a test market, the local distributor came to us for some ideas about how to make a splash with the new beer. We got to work and came up with a few creative concepts and a whole barrel-full of fun tactics to get the word out.
Long story short, due to a variety of circumstances the distributor didn’t use any of these ideas. Nevertheless, we had so much fun making them we thought we’d share them on our blog. These videos were each just one small part of much larger proposed campaigns, but they’ll give you a taste of what we were thinking. Tell us which is your favorite in the comments.
Last month’s appetizer contest was a success, if you were Sheri Kelley. Or if you were one of us who didn’t enter the contest but still got to eat a bunch of free appetizers.

To announce our arrival in the blogosphere, Jake and Josh dropped a large quantity of fresh rhymes. If you didn’t get to see this the first time around, enjoy! If you did, here’s your chance to fall in love all over again.
